Phosphatidylserine Interactions Explained

The following sections explain in detail the potentially negative interactions that can occur when phosphatidylserine is combined with any of the drugs listed above.
 
Anticholinergic Medications
It is thought that phosphatidylserine may increase acetylcholine levels. This could potentially decrease the effectiveness and/or decrease the side effects of some anticholinergic medications. Check with your healthcare provider before combining an anticholinergic medication with phosphatidylserine. In many cases, this potential interaction may be insignificant or perhaps even beneficial (if anticholinergic side effects are decreased); however, it is also possible that this interaction could cause significant problems.
 
Cholinergic Drugs
Because phosphatidylserine may increase acetylcholine levels, it may increase the risk of side effects due to medications that have cholinergic effects. Do not combine phosphatidylserine with a cholinergic drug without checking with your healthcare provider first.
