Namenda® is a medication that is licensed for the treatment of moderate to severe dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease. It is not a cure for the condition, but can be used to help slow down the worsening of symptoms. Namenda is available by prescription and comes in both tablet and liquid form. Common side effects include constipation, dizziness, confusion, and headache.
