Namenda XR and Breastfeeding
No studies have been conducted on Namenda XR (memantine XR) and breastfeeding, so it is not known whether the drug passes through breast milk. Because the medication is only approved for treating Alzheimer's disease, however, it is unlikely that a woman of childbearing age would need to use it.
