Demetia

Were you looking for information on Dementia? Demetia is a common misspelling of dementia.

Dementia is a collective term for certain symptoms that affect the brain. People with dementia may experience cognitive difficulties, changes in personality, and behavioral problems. Dementia typically affects the elderly; however, it is not a normal part of aging. Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause, but many different conditions can also cause it. Drugs are available to improve symptoms and slow down their progression, but these medications will not cure dementia.
